Modern Slavery Policy

Introduction from the CEO

Modern slavery is a violation of fundamental human rights and a crime. Its various forms include slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labor, and human trafficking. All of these deprive victims of their liberty and dignity in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. Badaboom does not tolerate modern slavery in our business operations or those of our suppliers and partners.

Our Policy on Modern Slavery

Badaboom has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and condemns to the highest degree the use of modern slavery in all forms. We recognize that if unchecked, consumers and businesses are inadvertently promoting and sanctioning these crimes and thus we are committed to supplying products free any association with modern slavery. This commitment to acting ethically and with integrity extends to all of our business dealings and working relationships.

Application of our Policy

We enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains. This includes but is not limited to conducting independent audits and personal walkthroughs of suppliers to ensure that all forms of modern slavery are not used in the production, procurement, and fulfillment processes.

Supplier and Partner Adherence to our Policy

We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers and other business partners, and as part of our contracting processes, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labor, or anyone held in slavery or servitude. And we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers and partners to the same standards.

We intend to provide annual training so that Badaboom personnel posses a high level understanding of modern slavery to ensure that it does not occur within any part of our business or any of our supply chains.

Amendments to our Policy

This policy expresses the will of the Badaboom and our commitment to the issues addressed. However, it does not in itself create any contractual obligations and may be amended by Badaboom at our discretion at any time.
